Elizabeth’s career in the insurance industry began in 1979 working for Country Companies in Bloomington, Illinois as a Financial Planner for large commercial farmers. After relocating to Chicago in 1986, she accepted a position in Aetna Life’s in-house structured settlement company as a resident broker and began her structured settlement career. She continued in this field as an in-house broker with CNA Insurance in Chicago and York, Pennsylvania. Since 2001, she has worked as a producer for several structured settlement brokerage firms. Through this professional experience she has learned firsthand the importance and unique benefits that using a structured settlement can offer. Elizabeth has shared this expertise with claims professionals, attorneys, self-insureds and claimants in mediations, one-on-one planning conferences, and training sessions. She has extensive experience with settlements arising from worker’s compensation, general liability, medical malpractice, auto/truck liability claims as well as those involving a Medicare Set-Aside Account (MSA).
Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University. She also obtained the Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation through the University of Notre Dame in 1998. Other studies have included completion of a paralegal certification and she is a licensed Life/Health agent in over 17 states.
After living in Illinois, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, Elizabeth and her husband are now settled in the Greater Cincinnati area. Elizabeth enjoys gardening, walking, reading and traveling.
